meguiars hot rims cleaner on painted rims?

i used the meguiars hot rims all wheel cleaner (http://www.meguiarsdirect.com/product_detail.asp?T1=MEG+G9524) on my gold work vs-xx and now the paint is all cloudy messed up and shiet, i believe it took off the clear coat. how do i fix this? can i just get some clear coat and put it on? which products can i use to bring back the clear coat? … [Read more...]

Help with car detailing process!?

Okay here is what I'm going to do to my black car: 1. Wash with Meguiars Gold Class Wash 2. Meg Clay Bar with the spray 3. Wash again with Gold Class Wash (is this step needed?) 4. SwirlX my whole car 5. Mothers Carnauba Cleaner Wax (do I need to? is this the right time to do it?) 6. Meg #7 polish 7. Gold Class wax What do you guys think?
