I just painted my car blue. I wetsanded a panel with 600 grit paper to remove orange peel and then tried to polish with a single speed random orbit polisher with a wool polishing bonnet using the regular cheapest turtlewax polishing compound.... but it's turning out dull!!! I'm using a little water and leaving it in one spot for 60 to 90 seconds, but its' dull.... What am I doing wrong? … [Read more...]

Alright I have a 92 Camaro z-28 White and im going to paint it all black. I will list the steps and let me know if any1 has any more information that will help me with a cleaner and smoother look in the end. - Obiously, i need to wash the entire car with water and soap, and afterwards wash with a wax remover to get all excess crap off of it. - Once it is washed i plan on sanding the entire white off of the car with 40 grit paper. - I will then body fill in any dents body damages, followed … [Read more...]
