What is the Best Cleaner for my Car's Exterior Before Waxing?

I have a 1986 Cadillac Deville, a beautiful car... Recently its been getting dusty as fudge and bitchasss Scrapz were writing shyt all over the dust bout South side n shyt. Can anyone give me the Procedures to clean it? Its my first car.
I am about to take it to the car wash and I know they wont wax it or anything. Someone also told me that Small scratches can come off with a special detail cleaner or something? he said it is awesome and will Really make it look like new!
What are some good cleaners for after the carwash?
I will wax it myself after I put a coat of the detailing stuff.
My car is outside alot and yeah.
ADVICE GUYS!
i know I can get my car looking like a million bucks if i take
it to a detail place but they charge you like 150 Bucks!
I dont wanna spend that much!

Several good products out theirMothers or meguires make a pretty good line of cleaners and waxes and these products have good results for scrathes,most of your major auto parts store carry a vast line of cleaners and finishes,but it dont matter how good they are you have to be able to put in a bit of time doing it,all these products have good directions on use but like I said a bit of time and elbow,will give you a great look.THeir are plenty of products that claim to work with little effort and time,but sounds like to me that you are a particular car buff and that caddy deserves to be owned by a person like you.Just take you time and you willbe satisfied with the results,Aint nothing nicer to look at then an older classy car Good my friend
