what worked best for me, and you couldnt even tell I painted it in my driveway, was first you have make sure that your primary primer coat was baby butt smooth. after it is all smooth wet sand the poop out of it, but dont take it all off. then you will spray it with your color, wet sand it smooth. spray another coat of color, wet sand it smooth, then spray another color. wet sand it smooth, do it as much as you want, the morecoats of paint, the better the color comes out and smoother it becomes. after about three coats, clear coat it, wet sand, clear coat, wet sand, three times. takes alot of time and work, but only way you can get it to shine. but this will never replace professional work, also, make sure you are wet sanding with 2000 or more grit. nothing heavier, that is the only way you will get it to shine.after wet sanding, use a rubbing compound to bring the clear coat back to a shiney finish.
