How can I get the smell of gas out of my girlfriend’s car?

A container of gas spilled in her trunk and its been reeking ever since. We've tried having the car detailed but the smell is still overpowering. Anyone know how we might be able to get rid of it? Thanks!

    You can remove all the panels in the trunk and clean them with dishwasher liquid and water. clean the trunk with dishwasher liquid. The suds from the dish washing liquid will absorbed the Gasoline. you just need a bucket of soapy water to get to that smell out.
