Anyone know how I can go about cleaning a certain area inside my car?

I have a '06 Honda Civic EX, the newer looking Civic with that huge windshield in the front. I am having the hardest time ever since I bought the car on cleaning one area and detailing the dashboard right below it. It is the area with very little room to spare right above the speedometer and below the windshield, that lil' nook or cranny, however you wanna call it. THAT AREA, LOL!! It is a pain in my rear end to get a simple Rag or towel in there to clean not to mention I like to detail my car with that shiny stuff and its hard to get in there without smearing it all over the place, anyone got any suggestions, if you have a newer Civic, please, by all means, give me some insight, lol. Thanks peoples.

I use the swiffer duster thing. its on a stick. Not sure about your area in your car but it does work well for my hard to get to area. However it wouldn’t work with shinner stuff. But atleast you could get the dust out.
